Palmer was noted not only for his sports prowess, but for his philanthropy and accessibility, and prided himself on always executing a legible signature when signing autographs for fans. The polished stainless steel cap is trimmed in light gold PVD with Palmer's umbrella logo on the cap end, and laser-etched with an Argyll pattern. The barrel is a deep red lacquer trimmed in light gold PVD.
